Bouthviset college to produce quality human resource on money market this year
(KPL) Bouthviset a local private college in cooperation with the Faculty of Business Administration, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Asset Pro Management Co, Ltd of Thailand signed a memorandum of understating on academic cooperation on financial market in Vientiane Capital on 30 August.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Chansavath Khounviset, Chairman of Executive Board of Bouthviset college, Asst. Prof. Suda Peetawan, a lecturer of University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Somphob Sakpumpanom, Chief Executive Officer of Asset Pro Management Co. Ltd.
Under the MOU, the tripartite sides have agreed to develop human resources of Laos regarding money and capital markets, through at least six training courses per year, which expects to produce at least 300 persons aiming at supporting the Lao stock market that will be opened at the end of this year.
Mr. Chansavath said that the Bouthviset College has signed the MOU on Academic Cooperation on Financial Market with the University of the Thai chamber of Commerce and Asset Pro Management Co. Ltd is to organise training courses on money and capital markets, share technical term on money and capital markets with three educational institutes and contribute to human resource development for the stock market of Laos.
He added that at the end of this year, the Bouthviset college will open a financial course for administrators and other courses and next year it will open a master degree programme on financial administration, marketing and managing administration.
The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce will provide honourable teachers from the Faculty of Business Administration and high-ranking administrators to teach money and capital markets to the Bouthviset College and Stock Market of Laos,” promised Mrs Peetawan.
Mr. Sakpumpanom has pledged to produce quality human resources on money and capital markets equaling to other country to serve the stock market in Laos.
