Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia complete border demarcation
(KPL) The representatives of Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia have celebrated the completion of their border demarcation. The celebration ceremony took place at the t-junction border mark of the three countries and was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Phongsavath Boupha, Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Dao Viet Trung, and Cambodian Head of Border Affairs Wa Kim Hong, along with concerned officials and the local authorities of Attapue province, Kontoum province (Vietnam) and Rattanakhiri province (Cambodia). The granite border mark is located on a mountaintop, which is 1,086 m above sea level. The construction of this border mark was commenced in November last year and over on 15 January. The completion of border demarcation is highly valued by the three countries, which will be significant to their cooperation and development on politics, economy, culture and security to benefit their peoples.
