Lao Ambassador presents credentials to Chinese President
(KPL) H.E Somday Bounkhoum recently presented his credentials as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to the People’s Republic of China to President Hu Jintao of China.
On this occasion, the Lao ambassador conveyed the Lao President’s best wishes to President Hu Jintao and Chinese people. The Lao ambassador also informed President Hu Jintao of the situation and achievements of the national defence and socio- economic development in Laos.
President Hu Jintao expressed thanks and congratulations to Mr. Somday Bounkhoum and asked him to extend his best regards and wishes to the Lao President.
The discussion touched on the valuable lessons and achievements in economic, industrial and agricultural construction and development of China.
