Bus accident kills 12 Vietnamese in Laos

 (KPL/VNA) Twelve Vietnamese passengers were killed in a bus accident on Mar. 1 in Attapeu province of Laos , about 50 km from the border.

The vehicle was carrying 20 Vietnamese on the Ngoc Hoi-Attapeu route when the accident happened. It overturned after colliding with a motorcycle ridden by a Lao driver, who was seriously injured and is hospitalised in Attapeu hospital.

The eight injured Vietnamese passengers are now under treatment at Kon Tum and Ngoc Hoi hospitals in Vietnam.
