Child Fund development accesses Nonghed district
(KPL) Since January, the Child Fund Australia (AUSAID) development project has gained an access to 12 villages in Nonghed district, Xiengkhouang province.
The Fund focuses is assistance on the construction of basic infrastructure, schools, cultural exchange among villages, and child right training.
Nonghed is one of the poorest districts in the country. it has 107 villages of which 11 are development village clusters. The majority or 60 % of its population is Hmong, 10% Kmu and 30% Low land Lao.
