Ho Chi Minh memorial construction granted
(KPL) The government of Vietnam, last Friday granted 35 VN billion dong through the Lao government for the construction of the Late President Ho Chi Minh memorial.
A signing ceremony was held in Vientiane Capital between Deputy Director of the Party Central Office, Mr. Souvandy Sisavath and General Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum, Mr Chu Duc Tinh in the witnesses of Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos, Mr Ta Minh Chau, Deputy Director of Party Central Office, Mrs Yodkeomany Souphanouvong and high-ranking officials from both sides.
The memorial of the late President Ho Chi Minh will be built in Xiengwang village, Nongbok district, Khammouane province.
The construction of memorial will consist of an exhibition hall, a worship place and souvenir selling place.
The area that will be built the memorial has been once a workplace of the Late President Ho Chi Minh to build a revolutionary base in 1929.
