Diplomatic relations between Laos and Kuwait established

(KPL) The government of the Lao PDR and the Kuwait have decided to set up diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial levels following the formal signing of a joint communique in Bangkok, Thailand on 14 July.
Signing the document were Mr. Mohammed Salem al-Ajmi, Ambassador of Kuwait in Thailand and Mr. Ouan Phommachack, Ambassador of Laos to Thailand.
The government of Laos and Kuwait hoped that the establish of the diplomatic relations will promote and strengthen the relations between the two counties and a determination to boost co-operation for mutual benefit.
