Vientiane, Hanoi youths strengthen cooperation

(KPL) The Executive Boards of Vientiane Capital and a group of youths from Hanoi met here on 10 July to further and strengthen their cooperative ties.
Thirty people from the Executive Board of Hanoi Youth, led by its Deputy Secretary, Mr Doan Chung Toan visited Vientiane capital to carry out several activities to help poor households in several districts here on 8 to 19 July.
During the first day of their visit, the executive boards of Vientiane Capital and Hanoi Youth went to Saythany district to organize several activities such as health checks for local people and the presentation of medical drugs and foodstuffs. The Hanoi Youth delegates also interacted with the local youths here on culture, art and sports and its objective is to deepen their relations and solidarity with Laos.
During their visit to Saythany district they advised the local people to be knowledgeable on how to raise animals and know how to protect human beings from infectious diseases carried by animals.
They donated one set of computer, several televisions and other educational materials to the local people.
