Strengthening Laos-Cuba co-operation on information

(KPL) Laos and Cuba agreed to continue their co-operation on human resource development, especially in the field of mass media.
The statement was released during the visit to Cuba by the Minister of Information and Culture, Mr. Mounkeo Oraboun, from 5 to 8 July.
According to the daily Lao language Pasason newspaper, the Party organ, Mr. Mounkeo Oraboun had a working session with Cuban leaders, including Mr. Fernando Rojas, Acting Minister of Culture, and Mr. Ernesto Lopez, Chairman of Cuban National Radio and TV Institute.
At the meetings, officials of Laos and Cuba discussed issues on information and cultural co-operation, particularly in print and electronic media.
During this dialogue the Cuban leaders said that the visit to Cuba by the Information and Culture Ministry delegation contributed greatly to the strengthening of the friendship and co-operation between Laos and Cuba.
