Information minister meets Nhan Dan newspaper delegation
(KPL) Mr. Mounkeo Oraboune, Minister of Information and Culture, met at his office on 1 September a courtesy visit of Nhan Dan (People) newspaper delegation of Vietnam.
At the reception, Mr. Mounkeo Oraboune praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of the Vietnamese people newspaper as a big contribution to further strengthening the special friendly relations and all-round co-operation between Laos and Vietnam, especially between the Pasason newspaper of Laos and Nhan Dan newspaper of Vietnam.
On this occasion, the Nhan Dan delegation expressed thanks to Mr. Mounkeo Oraboune for his warm welcome and briefed him about the purpose of his delegation’s visit to Laos which aimed to find the way for establishing a Nhan Dan office in Laos.
Nhan Dan and Pasason newspapers have achieved positive and effective co-operation over the past years.
The two sides also agreed to continue to strengthen that co-operation and give priority to disseminating Party and State policies and guidelines and news about the socio-economic achievements of the two countries.
