Deputies debates amended law on family

(KPL) A National Assembly members on 22 July has continued to discuss and considered a draft amended law on family after the presentation of Mr. Chaleun Yapaoher, Minister of Justice.
Mr. Chaleun has also presented the details of some articles which will be revised and improved. He said the new amended law on family comprised with 6 parts, 12 chapters and 55 articles. The new amended law has covered 2 added parts and 20 new articles. The new revised article is article number 27 and 19.
The law on family was approved by second people supreme council in 1990 and was declared based the President Decree No: 07 dated 22 December 1990. This laws was first revised for the article No 20 concerning the divorcement.
The session was chaired by Dr. Saysomphone Phomvihane, Vice President of the National Assembly.
