Vocational training for the disabled

(KPL) The Labour and Social Welfare Department of Vientiane and the Aquatic Breeding Centre organised a training scheme on aquatic artificial breeding for disabled people.
The training will be held at the centre of Hongkaikeo village, Saysettha district, Vientiane from 21 to 30 July.
The training course was attended by Mr Onsy Keophengla, Head of Labor and Social Welfare Department, Director of Aquatic Breeding Centre and 18 disabled trainees.
The trainees will study the theory and practice on animal husbandry and fish artificial breeding.
The objective of getting the disabled to gain vocational skills is to enable them to be gainfully employed and so make it possible for them to lead independent lives.
